We are honored to be hosting Cape Harmony on Monday, July 19 on the lawn at the Osterville Village Library.
Cape Harmony is Cape Cod’s all female a cappella group, founded in 2006. It is comprised of 10 talented young women from all over the nation who come to Cape Cod during the summer to make music for its residents and visitors. www.capeharmony.org
Every summer the library has a tent on the lawn. When we reached out to ask about dates for this event, July 19th was the only date that both the Library and Cape Harmony were available. So we booked it and then learned of this amazing and purely coincidental fact…
In 1848, on July 19th, the 1st women’s rights convention was held in Seneca Falls, NY. Over 300 women and men attended to make their voice heard in support of social, economic and political equality for women! The beginning of so many “firsts” for women.
Join us and celebrate YOU – Enjoy a Cape Cod summer evening, meet some new friends and listen to the beautiful voices of these lovely young women!
Refreshments will be served.
Health Note: This event will be held outside, rain or shine. Current Massachusetts protocol advises social distancing.
