Jessica Georges, founder of Green Road Refill will speak at the Tuesday, March 10th meeting of the Cape Cod Women’s Association. The meeting is 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Ivy Room at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 287 Iyanough Road (Route 28), Hyannis.
Jess Georges will share her journey of becoming an eco-entrepreneur and provide some easy steps to take in a green direction for a healthier body, home, and planet. A washashore from Buffalo, NY, Jess originally came to Cape Cod to perform at Brewster’s Cape Rep Theater. After meeting her husband and raising her children on the Cape, Jess decided to follow her passion for the environment, ocean ecology, and minimizing plastic waste. She founded Green Road Refill, a mobile eco-retail and “refill” store that aims to make greener living convenient for Cape Codders. Jess inspires her customers by educating them about tangible ways they can make more environmentally conscious choices in their daily lives.
The CCWA Member Spotlight will be Nancy Bober of NGBVoiceovers.
