How have you contributed to CCWA in the past?
I am currently the Vice President, Program Chair and I create the monthly newsletter. In the past, I have assisted with Programs and Corporate Sponsorships.
What makes you a good candidate?
I am a good candidate because I thoroughly believe CCWA is the best organization for women on Cape Cod. I have many connections on Cape Cod and I talk about CCWA everywhere I go. I am creative and energetic. I would love to see CCWA grow and offer more opportunities for women to learn from each other, make an impact on Cape Cod, be inspired, and get connected. I feel my professional and personal experiences are an asset to CCWA as an organization and most importantly, to its members. I have said it many times before, “Amazing things happen when women come together” and I would be honored to lead this group of amazing women.

How have you contributed to CCWA in the past?
When Shayna retired from Membership in Dec. 2018, I stepped up and volunteered to lead the Membership committee, welcoming guests and members at our monthly meetings; ensuring any questions about membership and/or the organization are addressed. I also attend most board meetings and offer my assistance with other items relative to the organization as a whole.
What makes you a good candidate?
I have over 30 years of administrative experience and will ensure that board meeting minutes and other pertinent documents are maintained in good order. One of my super powers is Follow Through, I don’t let anything fall through the cracks.

Volunteering for a board position or any role for that matter is paramount for an organization such as CCWA. Without volunteers it wouldn’t exist. It allows me to connect with amazing women and give back to the community in ways I never imagined.
