The next monthly meeting of the Cape Cod Women’s Association will feature presentations by five members who will briefly discuss how they founded their own businesses.
The meeting will take place Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 287 Iyanough Road (Route 28), Hyannis.
The Member Spotlights will feature:
Kathleen Bamber of Oscar Boxer Doggie Duds/Oscars Essential Oils;
Amy Reiss Levitt, Ruby Ribbon;
Virginia Scharfenberg, Talbot Ecological Land Care;
Sarah Thornington, The Studio by the Sea; and
Angela Thornton, Artisan Skin Care & Artisan Organics
The March meeting marks the one-year anniversary of the founding of CCWA, which brings together women to build relationships professionally and personally, through networking, education and personal development.
In the past year, CCWA has contributed $3,000 to its scholarship fund, managed through the Cape Cod Foundation. In addition, the organization has budgeted $1,500 to member educational expense reimbursement and non-profit awards.
Registration and networking begins at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and meeting runs till 8 p.m. The cost of the dinner meeting is $28 for members, $35 for guests.
