Its mission is to provide a fresh perspective on year-round Cape Cod living, for locals and visitors, and advocate supporting independent, locally owned and operated businesses year-round. Through monthly email updates, three annual LoveLocal Fests, seasonal LoveListenLocal programming in Hyannis Harbor, and an annual print publication – The CapeMade Field Guide, LoveLiveLocal encourages people to think local first and to engage actively in creating the Cape Cod community they want to live in.
The April Member Spotlight will be Laura and Simone Pereira, owners of Elburne, a Dennis furniture and home design store using reclaimed, recycled, and sustainable materials.
Fundraising at the meetings and special events go toward CCWA’s philanthropic efforts, which include scholarships, member benefits and funding for nonprofit initiatives undertaken by members. Cape Cod Foundation will help manage CCWA’s funds.
Nonmembers are always welcome to attend as guests at any meeting.
